Who is going to investigate this Arab thief. He's a terrorist working to destroy our government working from the inside, while enriching himself. His net worth has grown, during his tenure in the house, more than any other member of congress

Yeah, seriously. There is plenty to criticize about Issa without pulling the Arab terrorist card. The JDL once attempted to blow Issa up. He was almost a terrorism victim rather than a terrorist.

Isn't Issa the former car thief who made all of his money by inventing the car alarm with the sequence of six or so different sounds? If you have lived in a city since about 1990, you know the one that I mean.

But the insider trading going on among members of congress and the staffs has got to stop. It's ludicrous.

TJEY'RE ALL crooks. ISSA is just the most blatent He just happens to have the largest increase in net worth while a member of the HR allade in real estate insider knowledge

What he did was totally legal. Even Pelosi (VISA) made money with insider info. Congress finally passed the STOCK act in March, but it was like pulling teeth to get anyone to sponsor the bill.

REPORT: Media Ignore Rep. Issa's Alleged Criminal Past
January 11, 2011 4:40 pm ET — 20 Comments
Rep. Darrell Issa's past includes arrests for weapons charges and auto theft, suspicions of arson, and accusations of intimidation with a gun, but you'd hardly know it from the media's recent coverage of the new chairman of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee. While Issa was substantially mentioned in 15 articles in the nation's largest newspapers since the last election -- including several major profiles -- only one of those articles mentioned any of these allegations. Likewise, interviewers did not ask Issa about his alleged criminal past in any of the cable or network interviews he sat for during that period.

How does insider info make you money in real estate?

I don't know anything about Issa's dealings, but real estate is a prime candidate for insider knowledge. You buy land knowing someone wants to build something there, or that a zoning change is in the works.

WERE IT ONLY SO SIMIPLE AN INNOCUOUS
Read of the Office of Congressional Ethics has to say:
agout a man who's net worth went from 40Mil to >450mil during his role in the HR. A larger gain than anyone in the senate at a period of time when you and I saw our net worth plummet

Quoted from The Hill.com

The complaint contends that in 2008 Issa improperly touted a merger between the Sirius and XM satellite radio companies while having a financial interest in Sirius though DEI Holdings, a company he founded and which bears his initials.

It further alleges that Issa secured millions of dollars in congressional earmarks to improve roads serving properties he owns, including a multimillion-dollar medical complex in Vista, Calif.

“The symbiotic relationship he has established between his business interests and public responsibilities presents, on a continuing basis, the starkest example of conflict of interest,” Lux wrote.

Yeah, that's great if you are on a city council looking at nonpublic plans for a major construction project. Don't see how that works for a congressman.

Lol, blame issa for being the most savvy at using his legal right as a congressman for gain. Instead we should ask those congressman who have failed attempts at insider trading why they werent so business savvy.

And then take all of them and get rid of that insider trading ballyhoo.
