Do you know anyone who does it? What do you think of them?

I've done some mystery shopping. I signed up with a couple of companies and get their emails. I haven't done it in awhile. Most of the ones reimbursed for what I had to spend (e.g., postage at post office up to $10) and then paid $5 or $10. Granted, it didn't take a lot of time but it really wasn't worth it and there was no way that I could rely on it for a steady stream of income. OP here. I do mistery shopping and I was just wondering what DCUMs would say about me if they knew what I do.

It depends on the assignment... For every car dealership I get $20. Stuff like Chipottle and other fast foods it's $15 plus the cost of the food I ate. ID compliance places like gas station, convenience and ABC stores it's $10 plus the cost of the alcohol/tobacco.

You must write a report or fill out a survey within 24 hours of the assignment. It's pretty fun I'd say.

Do you get keep whatever it is you bought? I mean obviously the Chipotle is yours lol, but what about the alcohol or other actual products?

Yup. But there's a cap to spend.

You must know someone who'll take your blood sample and will invite you for a make up party. Once you're there you have to swear you'll never talk about it outside the circle and sign a contract.

If you spend all day and they pay you $20, that's really not that great.
