Will the Palisades eventually just be a neighborhood of McMansions?

| If the homes they were replacing were nicer, Palisades would have been declared a historic district and/or the costs of a teardown would be prohibitive. Neither appears to be the case, so get used to it. |

| I've seen some new houses with stone and hardiplan that are quite attractive, but the proportions seem totally off here. That house certainly won't improve the aesthetics of Palisades. |
