| I am interested in hearing aids but the one I've seen made me feel like she was mostly a salesman. I"m sure the hearing aid companies incentivize them, but they also are doctors (of audiology). Any recommendations for an audiologist in DC/MontCo? |

Go to Gallaudet University. They run an audiology clinic for the community. No hearing aid salespeople there!

Worst possible suggestion. That's like a lawyer having himself as a client. I have done a _lot_ of research on this question and the one sound suggestion that keeps popping up over and over is that the most important link in the chain is the audiologist. Choose one wisely and put yourself in their hands. To translate a Chinese proverb: Cheap isn't cheap, Expensive isn't expensive. R.G. |
