Who did you re-fi with recently, with no closing fees?

Comparing quotes and trying to find some with no closing fees (or lender credit for those fees). Did you re-fi with anyone recently and have no fees?

OP, are you in DC, MD or VA?

Try Cavalier Mortgage in Virginia Beach. We're closing this week on a re-fi with them. Got 3.5% on a 30-year fixed mortgage with no closing costs (lender paid).

OP here. I'd actually just contacted Cavalier, via Zillow, right before you posted this. Right now, they aren't advertising no closing fees, but they are advertising a 3.3% rate, versus the 3.5% I got quoted from 2 other companies. They are offering some lender credit toward closing fees, but not the total amount.

Yeah, I'm not sure how they do it but their rates always seem to be just a touch lower than everyone else's. Did you talk to Eddie? We've done two re-fi's with him and he got us great no closing cost deals both times. Even though they weren't specifically advertising a no-closing cost deal on the second go-round, he found us a lender credit of $4,000, that's covering everything. We've been very pleased.
