If you did IVF, has anyone tested to see if the hCG left your system BEFORE you did the Embryo Transfer? My ET is tomorrow and it'll been 7 days since the shot. I read on some IVF facility sites that it can leave your system quickly or longer depending on the dosage, your BMI, etc. I am curious if it's worth a HPT tomorrow before I leave for the ET to see if it is gone.
I know it's silly to do but I sort of want a baseline. If it's gone that may give me peace of mind for testing 5 or so days after my ET which is a 5-day transfer. |

I don't think it will leave your system in 7 days. I am also an IVFer (success on first try but after many other IF issues) so I understand your desire to test as soon as possible I really do. But I just don't think testing before ET is going to be very accurate.
