Has anyone had post (vaginal) delivery vaginal pain, irritation, and burning that lasts more than 2 months? My OB is "baffled." He says its not yeast or bacteria and can't figure out what it is. If anyone has any experience with this or ideas for what I can do, I'd really appreciate hearing from you.
Thank you. |
I have no idea about your medical history or current health, so I just thought I wanted to bring up a few points to consider asking yourself and your doc...
what kind of pain is it - throbbing, nerve-type pain, more of a groin pain? Are there certain activities/positions that make the pain feel worse or flare up? Do you have pain anywhere else - or any other "odd" symptoms? Have you changed soaps, lotions, etc.? Has your doc. considered checking for hemerroids? |
Try taking acidophilous pills, a generic cure-all for misc. ph-balance and yeasty issues.
Also, could it be that you are too dry? I have heard of women who lose vaginal lubrication after giving birth--could it be that you are too dry and that is what is causing the feeling? |
You may want to get a second opinion. |
