There are a lot of numbers in the article, so I'm not sure I get the full picture, nor am I sure the writer does. But as I read it, we put 15,000 troops in Kuwait, next door to Iraq, to compensate for the lack of agreement with the Iraqi government about leaving troops there. Now we are adjusting that number down to 13,500. This sounds pretty much the opposite of what OP said. I'm confused!

Don't blame or credit Obama for Egypt. He had nothing to do with it. America is not as influential as it once was. Get used to our second tier status in the world.

I am going to say this one more time and then I am going to begin enforcing it. If you cannot put an accurate subject line on a post, I am going to delete it. This is a continual pattern. This article in no way says that troops are being sent back to the gulf.

To other posters in this thread, if you happen to reply to one of these misleading threads before I happen to come across it, please don't be offended when the thread is deleted. I am simply tired of having DCUM treated like a branch of Fox News.

So funny because six months ago you told us the Iraq withdrawal was BUSH's MASTER PLAN and that Obama could not take credit for it.

All I know is you won't hear any actual commitments from the Republicans. Half of them claim Arab Springis the logical conclusion to the Bush plan to bring Democracy. The other half fear that Democracy will lead to Muslim governments.

And in OPs case he has posted both ways. Good job OP you really DO believe in Romneyism!
