Nice dinner in dc or Arlington

My Mom is having her 10 year sober anniversary this week. I want to take her to dinner an am looking for ideas. It needs to be a place were alcohol is not the main point (no nice bars or anything like that) and preferably where alcohol is not in every meal (melting pot comes to mind). I have one of the dinner boat cruises reserved but I dont think she can get off work in time.
My price range is up to $100 per person but I prefer to keep it below that. Also nothing too romantic (I don't want it to be all couples that might be too much). We are in Arlington so something close by. Also she has in mind that my toddler is coming I have a sitter for her but if someone can come up with a place that is kid friendly that would be a bonus but not necessary. |

| What kind of food does your mom like? Steak, seafood, ethnic? That would help us narrow it down a bit. |
