Dr. Batti - Fairfax ENT?

Greetings - Anyone have experience w/ Dr. James Batti at the Bahadori ENT practice in Fairfax? I have heard good things about Bahadori but we could only get an appointment with Dr. Batti. Feedback welcome!

Did you ever hear from anyone? We really liked Dr. Batti, but I understand he has left that practice group. I've been trying to find out where he went. Anybody know?

You really think he went to Pittsburgh? Where did you hear that. I am looking as well. He had a son in HS here so I would be shocked if he went up there. So it happens we may not have a choice to go with another DR in that practice. I really would like to know where he went.

I saw Dr. Batti and he was fine - he wasn't too quick to pull the trigger on doing tubes for DD, which I appreciated. At first I thought he was being too conservative, but after we saw him in April she hasn't had any issues. I appreciated that he didn't jump to extremes. However - be cautious with scheduling. I received a voicemail telling me that they had rescheduled an appointment for me. I showed up and they had no record of me having any appointment. They did eventually see me, but we had to wait two hours...despite the fact that they rescheduled my appointment to that time!

Great pediatric ENT. Has anyone figured out for sure where he went since leaving the practice in Fairfax/Centreville, Va?

I'm also curious about where Dr. Batti went. He helped diagnose our then 14mo's submucous cleft palate and referred us to the palate team at Inova. She has since had surgery, tubes and absolutely 100%. We called for a regular 6month check-up to find that he is gone and no hint of where he went, just "he is no longer with the practice". We have an appt. scheduled with Dr. Tobey as well in Feb. Anyone have experience with her yet?

I tried to find Dr. Batti recently after a friend highly recommended him ("amazing, experienced, skilled, friendly, easy to talk to...."). When I called to make an appt I was told he was "no longer with the practice;" they wouldn't give me any more information than that. They offered to make an appt with Allison Tobey saying she is a pediatric ENT. I always do my homework before taking my daughter to just anyone so I said I'd call back. Turns out Dr Tobey did not complete a pediatric ENT fellowship (Dr Batti did - it was in his bio that the practice apparently forgot to take off their website). So, while Dr Tobey may see pediatric patients she does not have the full creditials to be called a "pediatric ENT." No one at the practice does now that Dr Batti left. I want a fully credentialed and experienced pediatric specialist for my daughter - I just really believe that there are unique issues that need to be considered when dealing with a child (such as how will this surgery affect growth?).

I'm still looking for Dr Batti so please post if you've found him.

oh, and I don't think he went to Pittsburgh - he lived/worked there years ago according to a google search, but I can't seem to find him there now. And I was so excited to read he was with this Dr. Bane so I called his office -- Dr Batti isn't there either. very frustrated trying to find him as my friend absolutely RAVED about him.

Rumor has it Dr Batti is opening up his own practice soon in the same area!

Dr. Batti placed my daughter's tubes in 2011. He was amazing, and such a kind man. I just learned from the practice that he moved up North for family reasons.

I have just scheduled my daughter for a 2nd set of tubes with Dr. Tobey. While I can't find much information about her, she appears to have a particular interest in pediatric ENT surgery, and the practice PA speaks well of her.

I just tried to get an appointment with him also since we need our second daughter to have surgery and he did an excellent job last year with our older daughter. He is fabulous and I am trying to find him also so if you find him please post!
