Nova pools: can you just join the swim team

| Check the Upton Hills Pool (very nice public pool in N. Arlington on Wilson, I think) website - I am not sure how they handle it, but I think they have a swim team. You may have to buy a season pass. Everyother private pool makes you join to be part of the swim team. My friends found a reasonable one without a wait list. It is not hyper competitive and the price is not as bad as others. It is behind "loeman's Plaza" on Rt. 7, I think. |

Incorrect. Anyone can join Reston teams. And there are several within RSTA. |

| You usually have to be a member of the pool. Where I live you can get a single membership for about $200 and then another $75 for the team. No wait list to join the pool. |

| If the swim team is a member of the NVSL, then you have to be a member or renter (or HOA member) at the pool. I'm guessing that Reston teams don't swim in the NVSL. |
