Let’s start with fcv 07 actually beating Loudoun 07. |
Some of us keep saying: maybe it's a coaching issue.... Coaches pick the lineup, substitutions, playing time. You can have the best players on the team but you need them to be on the field at the same time and when they are subbed, well.... |
Two of the new players scored 3 of the 4 goals against DE. Make of that what you will. |
And who was responsible for the allowing the 4 goals getting scored? |
Keniye’a-shawt-ay |
So they played, what, like 18 v. 11? And still tied? SMH |

From the game film it looks the Delaware team should have won. |
Really you post your own link that cannot be viewed |
And a goalkeeper, too, apparently.
|
Isn't this team 18 deep at this point? From everything I've seen posted on hear over the years about that team, they were supposed to dominate last year, then added a "majority" of Loudoun's best players and the best player in the world. How can a coach not win with a team that is "stacked" from top to bottom? Can't blame coaching/subbing for that. |

FCV 07 has 22-25 players. Good group of kids. If parents want to pay $4,000 plus travel brings up to $10,000 like the DA to get a kid placed just on a roster in college or a minimal scholarship - let them.
Figure 5 years - $40,000 - $50,000 for a placed on a college team or a $10K scholarship (books, fees). Ok. Wish I had money to burn like this. |
It’s too bad so many people are in it for the scholarship, that likely won’t be nearly as appealing as they imagined or won’t exist at all. |
$4k plus travel?! That seems very high, almost double, compared to ECNL teams. |
FCV $4000, Maryland United $3500. Factor in all the costs, meals, travel costs etc etc and it's definitely $10K++ |
Yes but if you recruit players, you pay no fees. Obviously Recruiter Dad isn’t much of a scout if the players he brought in resulted in a 4-4 tie to DE. |
