Sounds to me that is it left to be individual decision, some kids want it some don't, but the season for GA won't stop for HS soccer. Creative coaches can figure it out. I like the idea that there are options for all players and no over reaching rules from a league.

There's a big difference IMO. One endorses HS soccer, the other kinda sorta accepts that some girls may want to compromise their teams by doing it, and that is ok... I guess.

Revisionist history here. Ecnl was discouraging Hs strongly until GDA came along and it became a marketing angle. Come on now. Ecnl is some organization of noble individuals looking out for the best interests of players. Give it a rest.

Believe me, I'm not saying ECNL is noble, I'm just looking at the policies as they stand today. I've been through Terry's shaming method (yes in ECNL), and it doesn't work. GA should either endorse HS, or not, leaving it ambiguous (as they appear to be doing) makes it harder on the girls that want to play HS.

I agree, that is apparently all you know. I am interested in GA, because I'm always evaluating the options critically that's why. Families should not be trusting any league to do the right things, and to uphold promises. That would include ECNL, GA, and any other league. We make choices every year.
