Cap City is not easy to get into. They never really go far into their wait lists. |
#22 for Seaton pk4 any chance?? (no preference ) |
We got in last year with that exact number,in late August. But Seaton is on the rise, so it's not a sure thing. |
Call lamb and ask. Also ask them what campus we will be at because we have no idea. |
Where did Swami go? |
#8 on the waitlist at Yu Ying for 1st grade... any chance? |
What say you Swami?
Kinder 1. Stokes BK #10 (Spanish) 2. Stokes BK # 7 (French) 3. DCB #1 4. MV (matched, but declined) |
Why did you decline MV??? |
+1 right. why did you decline MV *confused* |
Commute |
I didn't realize there was more demand for Stokes than for DCB. Why did you like it better? Would you accept DCB or only Stokes? |
+1 If you have a matched pk3 child, your K child should not be that high on the waitlist. You need to call. |
Swami apologizes, she has been waiting for data to inform her gut, and it's available. After digesting this, there will be swamiing to come. (Waiting on DCPS still) http://www.dcpcsb.org/evaluating/waitlist-data |
Hi Swami, big fan. My child started at #3 on Mann prek4 waitlist, then moved to #5, and is now back to #3. Is there any hope? FWIW, I know of two people who got in and declined their offer so that’s what the downward movement’s from. Thanks! |
I heard that in past years Langley eventually took everyone off their wait list. But, I feel its popularity grew this year. (Good for them, not so good for us.) My son started at #11 on the wait list and now he sits at #16 (and growing...I'm sure). Anyone have predictions on how deep they will go into their wait list this year? (If it wasn't obvious, we are not IB.) |
