RHOBH has really lost any sense of genuine drama or spontaneity.

Dorit feels like a total LVP plant and an actress. Eden Sassoon also just feels so fake and like she's playing the role of the pushy sober lady who's job it is to keep the Kim Richards storyline relevant. I mean did they give her a script with the kooky shit she says or what? And someone must have slipped Lisa Rinna a check to go along with these stupid ass conversations, which she must know are a bad idea. Why would she even care enough to be talking about Kim Richards with anyone?

I realize all these shows are producer-driven to some extent, but this one just really feels like all these women are in on the gig. All the "drama" is manufactured drama. No one really loses control or seems invested on any real level. It's all A says something mildly offensive or provocative (but not even really). They all discuss it ad nauseum in a way that mostly never makes them look truly unhinged or bad or like anyone even gives a shit. Everyone goes home.

BORING.

There are so many other good things on on Tuesday night that I am about 5 episodes behind on this show, and I really have no desire to catch up. Reading threads like this seems good enough. I ended up deleting the reunion episodes last year without watching them. Maybe this will finally break my Housewives addiction?? (Although I am caught up everywhere else for now!)

I agree. Who on earth does she think she is, asking personal questions about Kim and crying over Kim's situation, saying it reminds her of her own? PUH-LEEZE. Way to try and make it all about you, Eden. I think she is very, very strange and I can't believe Lisa R. went along with it all. I actually think Lisa was regretting doing so when she saw how crazy Eden was acting. I think Lisa latched onto Eden far too quickly, before really knowing much about her, and now she's realizing that she's climbed in bed with crazy.

I wish Kyle had excused herself from that lunch. She shouldn't have had to sit there and be grilled about the alcoholism in her family. Eden has zero class to pry into matters that don't concern her.

As for Kim, I really, really wish everyone would just leave her alone. She's dealing with her sobriety on her own terms, and it's incredible to me that any of these women think they have the right to lecture her on what she should and should not be doing. Kim was never a favorite of mine, but she seems sweet enough. Time for the vultures to back off and simply be her friend, without mentioning "sobriety" at every turn.

to whoever said Andy Cohen is better than this. think again. and also no one is begging to kim to be on this show. she is getting something out of this too. if i were working on my sobriety as she so-called is. i wouldn't go anywhere near this group - my sister included. so bizarre.

I guess keeping the pills together is kinda weird -- and I'm not sure why she needs to carry so many at a time -- but they were mostly random vitamins and supplements, with sleeping pills the most potent of the bunch. So I dont think it seems like a big deal, unless I missed some oxy or something.
