| Maybe her husband needed the insurance money to pay off his 53 million dollar debt he claimed to have. When Zuckerberg would not loan him a billion dollars he needed another plan. |

What happened to Kim IS scary and awful.
No one deserves to be put through such an awful ordeal. No one. However Kim and her family need to stop posting selfies of all their expensive jewelry, especially up close. It's just not safe to do so. And when out + about in public, they need to stop putting up their ring fingers on such huge display making sure the paparazzi gets a good close up shot of their multi-million dollar gems. That would help things. Because if you purposely flaunt your expensive wares in such a public fashion, it only invites trouble later on. Just my two and a half cents. Or sense. |
+1 Totally agree and also can't imagine any family member thinking it's okay to have no private security nearby when you're in the apt alone with that much jewelry. Sisters should have had another person(s) protecting them and leave Kim's with her. |
| Maybe flashing the jewelry online and not having security was the plan. |
Here's an interview she did with Oprah regarding her sex tape and the regret and humiliation she felt. I hope you ladies are perfect angels and have never done something stupid when your were younger that you would now regret. And I hope you don't slut shame your daughters for the rest of their lives if they impulsively did something dumb one day--be is sex, drugs, alcohol, etc. http://www.oprah.com/own-oprahs-next-chapter/Kim-Kardashian-on-the-Sex-Tape-That-Made-Her-Famous-Video |
| Ban the phrase slut shame. Ban the phrase slut shame. Ban the phrase slut shame. |
And that tape would have been tossed into the pile of all of the other internet sex tapes out there if Kim hadn't decided to market it herself. In 2003 the internet was still a budding dinosaur. Most people have still not seen that tape nor do they want to see it. If she had wanted to keep a lid on it she could have simply NOT made mention of it at every turn. It would have gone away, Kim would have gone away. But that isn't at all what Kim wanted. |
Yes, she should have just coward to the public and the media that hounded her and hung her head in shame being the sorry little slut she was.

This was some Oceans 11 shit. Inside job by experienced professionals.
Or less likely, an elaborate hoax, or someone trying to teach her a lesson. It is interesting that her one and only bodyguard was at the club. Really, you thought Paris was that safe?? I think someone would leak that it was a hoax at some point, though. This happened because she is one of the most recognizable people on the planet AND flaunts her riches very publicly on a near daily basis AND she was in a foreign country which for most people means you're extra vigilant. But the Kardashians think their wealth makes them untouchable. Typical clueless Americans. I don't feel sad for her - she needed the wakeup call and wasn't hurt. From now on get a clue and hire more security. |
I assume the jewels were insured... I also assume no one will ever offer her insurance again... |
No, she simply did not have to PROMOTE IT and make people aware of it. Which is what she did. I am not at all convinced that she was not the person who put that out there to begin with. There is a rumor that her *mother* helped her do it - crazy. |
Lol. Bingo. |
Dollar store Cubic Zarconia for Kim from now on. How tragic. |
When the hell did she promote it? Please send me the video clip of Kim telling people to go watch her sex tape. When the release was inevitable she made sure she got paid but I have never once heard her say anything positive publicly about that video. |
Where did you read that they think it's a hoax? All I've read is that they think it was an inside job and they seem to be investigating and taking it seriously. Apparently, they've located a video of the robbers. |
