Here's the thing to remember: Janelle is not known for good-decision making. I don't think Barbara went to college. They may not know what we consider basics, like that a state school will cost less than a for-profit. Also even if Janelle has been trying to get through the program for four years, I doubt it's a four year program. If she even LOOKED at college I could see her saying "I don't want to spend four YEARS going to college!"

Some do, especially if they have a personal code of conduct policy.

The judge awarded primary custody to Corey. I'm glad this happened so quickly. Those poor girls need stability. Jermey's parents need to take custody of Addie and Leah needs to go to a long-term treatment center.

Good, this needed to happen. Corey and Jeremy were on to Leah's game for a long time, that is why they were able to hang out like they are long time friends.

The Ashley is reporting that Jermey is going to pursue custody of Addie. I forgot that he is using the same lawyer as Corey.

Did anyone watch last night? I'm assuming this took place in September since the kids were just starting kindergarten. I didn't watch the after show though. Has Chelsea gotten married since Sept?

I did. Leah trying to get those kids to school, with no breakfast and no lunch, after they were sleeping on the sofa - ye gods. And this is how she behaves during a custody battle, while she is being filmed!

SEAT BELTS. Omg, Leah, why don't you or any of your compadres understand how seat belts work? Even the girls in their boosters had them on incorrectly. Leah and crew do the lap belt and drop the shoulder belt to their torso. The girls do the same. Argh.

And don't get me started on the texting and phone scrolling while driving. You're so exhausted, I get it, so chug some Mountain Dew (you know you have it in your fridge) and keep your eyes peeled to the road! I'm not a morning person at all, and we solve this issue by having everything set up the night before. Seriously, I dress my kids in the morning while they're still asleep. None of us can get it together in the morning. But we recognize that and make adjustments. My kids eat breakfast at their morning babysitter's home, and I comb their hair there before I leave them. Leah throwing everything together at 6:30am almost looked like a set up for the cameras--except it probably wasn't.

That first scene with Leah gave me so much anxiety. I'm glad Corey has custody of the twins now. How can you not feed your kids breakfast or lunch and let them sleep on the couch? And then Addie is eating sugar packets at lunch? Awful. She needs more treatment.
Why doesn't Joe have a job? Does V have one? They always seem like they're just hanging out at home doing nothing.

OMG you guys, yes. How could she drive them 45 minutes to school and just tell them to eat breakfast when they get there? I get that it's early, but she can't put some cheerios in a baggie so they can eat on the way, for f*ck sake?

And did you catch the part about Joe having no job? When Kaelyn (sp?) said something about child support, he said he couldn't pay because he doesn't have a job, and when she suggested he get one, he said that he couldn't get a job because then he wouldn't get to spend time with Isaac when he had visitation?!
