+1 there’s too much $$ (and the expected awards) riding on this and the studio will not allow the movie to fail. Ariana will lay low for awhile, may go into rehab for an ED and then talk about battling her demons while a nice check will be written to the ex-wife to stay quiet.

I don’t think studios generally ‘allow’ movies to fail. But it happens all the time.

Just replace the lead who they have been promoting in this role since 2021? Not that simple and would financially wreck the movies.

It’s already wrecked because it’s almost guaranteed to flop. Nowadays promotion has to be flawless to get people to watch s that’s not going to be the case here.

A 2-part Wicked movie already seemed risky and now this? At least part of the reason Barbie is doing so well is that its promotion was spot-on. Bubbly pink fun! And its two leads did the promotion gamely without scandal and at least seemed to like each other, but in a friendly way. By the time Wicked the Movie comes out will Ariana and Ethan even still be a couple? Or will it be weird, awkward red carpets and promotional interviews?

Or she will bring their two year old SpongeBob love child to the Premiere.

How is the child a " love" child when the parents were married? They aren't going to last that long

I agree that what he did was terrible, but for all of those wondering what she sees in him - obviously he’s very talented, and can sing/dance/act at a Broadway level; he was nominated for a Tony.

My guess is that Ariana does this, to make up for her plain girl past. She's been made over, lost weight, got some work done, she sees it as a (demented) challenge to get taken men, to get her self esteem up.

She's gross, and has a lot of issues. Least of which is that her new man looks just like her brother.
