Niece just finished her freshman year at University of Chicago. She hates it.

I’m so new here I don’t even know how to do the blue highlighted thing to show the post I’m responding to. But the ease with which people here brand any poster who ruffles their feathers a troll is really pathetic. If you disagree with a post, cough up someone evidence or at least an anecdote. I am sorry to hear this OP. My kid is going there next year and is really excited about it. She turned down a bunch of great options (including some other T15s) to make this choice. Really hope it works out for her and the rest of her class. And I hope your niece can transfer to somewhere she finds ether for her.
