Well, in order to obtain abortion pills from The Satanic Temple, women have to convert to satanism and say the words of the Satanic Ritual for abortion. So yes, people are becoming Satanist to obtain abortion pills from The Satanic Temple. That’s part of the problem.

Wow, it’s almost like the Satanic Temple…..wait for it…..is doing something bad. Who would have thought?

Unless, of course, they are doing that for Swiftian-like satirical purposes - which they clearly are. Admittedly not as clever as "A Modest Proposal" but the evidence that you are beating the issue to death here is proof it has been extremely effective.

They threw the bait, and you swallowed hook line and sinker.

They are also fundraising off women. They are not transparent about the donations they are receiving, and are using the donations to fund their rent and personal expenses.

Why do you defend the Satanic Temple? Are you racist? How do you feel about Jewish people? Do you think you are an Aryan King?

LOL I can defend them all day long. Still better than the Catholic church that took how much in PPE loans? Oh please, every religion has grifters and scammers. McClean Bible, Joel Osteen, Falwell (how anyone believes that utter shit I will never understand much less give them money).

They should all be taxed, and some of them charged for grifting.

But hail to the Satanic Temple for helping women right now. I will take it no complaints.

you are ok with racism, anti-Semitism, and eugenics. Very gross. You are not a good person.

DP here. No PP is not ok with those things. But you are. As long as it is done by your side. This is what the satanic temple is trying to show. That's pretty clear to most of us. It's being done to expose your hypocrisy. It's satire, as was pointed out prior.

Stop already with the BS about the ST “trying to protect women.” It’s complete BS and I have a bridge in Brooklyn to sell you. If they wanted to protect women, they wouldn’t force them to join, abandon their faith, donate money, or do weird rituals. Instead they’d do what all the other women’s groups do, which is conduct a zoom health assessment and then mail out the pills.

Picture it. A ST that simply conducts a health assessment and mails out the pills. No coercing women to abandon their faith. No coercing them to join and pay membership dues that go God knows where including to support white nationalism. No coercing them to perform hokey rituals including looking at a statue of Satan. That’s an ST I might (maybe, I’m a lefty Christian) support. But that’s not Greave’s ST.

The ST is trying to get membership $$$ and publicity. Full stop.

DP. I’m starting to wonder if pp is an ST “official” or hanger-on. Nobody in their right mind would fall for the BS about helping women by coercing them to abandon their faith and pay membership dues that go who knows where including supporting white supremacy.

Which makes pp a white supremacist.

Marc J. Randazza (born November 26, 1969) is an American First Amendment attorney and a commentator on Infowars and CNN on legal matters.

Randazza represents multiple far-right figures, including conspiracy theorists Alex Jones, Mike Cernovich, and Chuck Johnson; and neo-Nazi, white supremacist, antisemitic conspiracy theorist Andrew Anglin. Randazza defended a participant in the planning of the violent Unite the Right rally who used the pseudonym "Kristall.night" (cf. Kristallnacht). Kristall.night claimed that a federal subpoena against the app Discord following the deadly rally would reveal her identity and expose her to potential harm through doxing.

Randazza has defended Anglin in a lawsuit filed by a Jewish realtor in Whitefish, Montana, whom Anglin had published the name and address of on his neo-Nazi website The Daily Stormer. Randazza had argued that Anglin was not responsible for the subsequent harassment and death threats the woman received, as the personal information was protected as free speech. This claim was rejected by U.S. District Court Judge Dana L. Christensen, who noted that Anglin was actively encouraging and participating in the plaintiff's harassment, and that calls to violence against a private individual are not protected speech.

Randazza was set to represent Alex Jones, the founder of InfoWars, in a Connecticut Superior Court case in 2018 after the infamous conspiracy theorist was sued by six families of children killed in the 2012 Sandy Hook school shooting. However, when Randazza filed a pro hac vice application to be added to the Sandy Hook case as an out-of-state lawyer, the judge denied it, citing "serious misconduct," namely the discipline arising from the dispute with Liberty Media Holdings noted below. Randazza's firm, however, continued to represent Jones on and off in the litigation, even though Randazza himself did not enter an appearance.

Randazza also represented Infowars in a copyright dispute over the use of a Pepe the Frog image.

He also filed suit for Infowars against the Federal Aviation Administration to permit the use of a drone to gather news footage at the U.S./Mexico border.

In May 2018 The Satanic Temple (TST) sued Twitter for religious discrimination with pro bono support from Randazza. In August, the Los Angeles chapter of TST disaffiliated in protest, calling Randazza a "Twitter troll and an agent of the alt-right."

How much more evidence do you need? The Satanic Temple is a white nationalist org.

They are raising funds for their rent, personal bills, and expenses off the desperation of girls and women because they support eugenics, not women’s rights.

Are people really this ignorant and blind?

The entire point is that religion has no place in medical care.

Why is this so hard for some people to understand?

A University of Chicago study concluded that a whopping 76% of doctors stated that they believe in God, compared with only 39% of scientists, and about 70% of Americans overall.

Thousands of religiously affiliated hospitals throughout the world.

Medicine, healing, religion, and spirituality have existed hand in hand since time immortal.

Yet the Satanic Temple (who admit to living off the money they raise on the backs of women) are your heroes?

Perhaps just drink a bracing cup of your own urine, donate $6.66 to Lucien/Doug, and try to understand religion is involved in medical care and always will be.

There are a handful of state mandated atheist countries you can flee to to escape the horror of religion in medical care.

Like drinking blood?

They aren’t “heroes”, just another corrupt religion who doesn’t belong in my medical care.

The Lord’s Supper/Christian Communion is a remembrance of what Christ did for us and a celebration of what we receive as a result of His sacrifice.

Grifters who lie and sell “documentaries” to people that claim drinking your own pee cures cancer is what you support and defend.

Bodily fluid is bodily fluid.

There are grifters in every denomination.

Atheists have denominations?

No, why would they?

^ ST isn’t atheism. Because I’m sure you are conflating the two.

Greaves has spoken on the topics of Satanism, secularism, and The Satanic Temple at universities throughout the United States, and he has been a featured speaker at national conferences hosted by American Atheists, the American Humanist Association, and the Secular Student Alliance.

Lucien/Doug quotes:

“You have only to look at some men, to know that they belong to an inferior breed. Take the Negro for example. His narrow cranial development, his prognathous jaw, his projecting lips, his wide nasal aperture, his simian disposition, his want of forethought, originality, and mental capacity: are all peculiarities strictly inferior. Similar language may be applied to the Chinaman, the Coolie, the Kanaka, the Jew, and to the rotten-boned city degenerates of Anglo-Saxondom: rich and poor.”

“In many cases, abortion should be mandatory.” [Original] [Mirror]
“I do believe that that type of person should not be allowed to breed.” [Original] [Mirror]
“You got n—-r sodomites on call.” [Original] [Mirror]
“I don’t wanna have a kid if it’s gonna be a r-t-rd or anything like that.” [Original] [Mirror]
“I do envision a better world but a better world has to come with some less people in it. Some particular type people.” [Original] [Mirror]
“Well, [Jews] are a distinct phenotype.” [Original][Mirror]
“I think there should be eugenics policy, population control policy, something that ensures quality reproduction.” [Original][Mirror]
“I think it’s okay to hate Jews if you hate them because they’re Jewish, and they wear a stupid f@cking frisbee on their head and walk around [thinking] they’re God’s chosen people.”
“ Natural selection and modern civilization have ceased to exist. Today we live in a world overpopulated with bottom feeders. The pool is overfilled with the dregs, there is no inherent value on human life. The value is earned and most people are running a deficit. They’re worse than worthless. They’re counter-productive. What can be done?”

Mesner states, “It’s OK to hate Jews” if this hatred is based in contempt for their supernatural beliefs but that, “It’s not OK to hate Jews” if this hated is based in racism or ideas of eugenics. Bugbee then asks Mesner, “Do you like Satanic Jews?” Mesner answers, “Satanic Jews are fine.” Bugbee replies, “One drop of Jew blood means you ain’t breaking bread with me, motherf@cker.” At this, someone on the podcast can be heard laughing. Mesner starts to respond, at which point Bugbee accuses Mesner of being Jewish himself. Mesner then replies, “Look at me, I’m an Aryan king.” This is met with more laughter. This exchange is followed by a more serious discussion by Bugbee’s wife, Amy, about how Jews exaggerated the numbers killed in the Holocaust and have exploited it for political gain, during which Mesner is silent.

This has been posted multiple times and has not been addressed by posters who support the Satanic Temple and/or their activism.

+1. We’ve yet to hear a single defense for giving money to this racist anti-Semite. Instead we get a lot of deflection (“pedos!”). Because there is no excuse unless you’re a racist anti-Semite yourself.

In other words, they’re an atheistic organization, but conduct themselves as a religion.

TST doesn’t genuinely believe in Satan, but they get very real threats nonetheless, since the whole “Satan” thing upsets people a lot. Their Twitter lawsuit stems from an incident in January, in which a woman called for the group’s headquarters in Salem, Massachusetts, to be burned down, writing, “A church like this Should not exist! Burn it! Blame Hillary I don’t care! It’s gutta go.”

Greaves reported the post to Twitter and called on others to do the same. Twitter said the message did not violate their terms of use, and instead, Greaves’s account was permanently suspended for “abusive behavior.”

Twitter later restored Greaves’s account, but he threatened to sue them on the grounds of religious discrimination.

When TST filed the complaint against Twitter in May, the org was represented by First Amendment attorney Marc Randazza. Randazza has represented several far-right clients, including Andrew Anglin, the founder of the neo-Nazi, white supremacist website The Daily Stormer, and alt-right personality Mike Cernovich, whom he described to The Daily Beast as “an A-plus level friend, and the kind of rare soul now where you can really trust his word as his bond.”

The decision to enlist Randazza rubbed many TST members the wrong way. This weekend, the Los Angeles branch of TST announced it was withdrawing from the group, and renaming itself The Satanic Collective, in part because of Randazza’s involvement in the lawsuit.

“We view Marc Randazza as a Twitter troll and an agent of the alt-right,” they wrote in a statement on Instagram. “We believe in most of The Satanic Temple’s causes, its tenets, and its core mission, and we understand the value of the community The Satanic Temple provides […] but we cannot endorse it or be a part of it anymore. We cannot look past partnering with bigots and Nazi sympathizers and justifying that with inapposite and white supremacist appeals to free speech.”

It’s abundantly clear Lucien/Doug espouses white power and neo-Nazi thought. He hired an attorney who defended the Nazi website “The Daily Stormer.”

I think the people here defending him genuinely don’t care. It’s abhorrent. It’s beyond a joke!

No you are not understanding.

Republicans are the issue. They are coming for everything women have. The want women barefoot & pregnant. Women are already dying in red states. Spew all you want they are not the issue.

No you don’t understand. Also, your what-about-isms are irrelevant and OT, as what-about-isms are by definition.

Give money to this guy and you’re giving money to white nationalism. Encourage terrified teens to give money to the ST, and you’re encouraging terrified teens to give money to white nationalism. It’s completely irrelevant what anybody else is doing or not doing. He and his organization s@ck and don’t deserve anybody’s money.

- not an evangelical, not a Catholic, not Jewish, not an atheist

Nobody here is giving money or encouraging others to give money.

Guess you’ll need to work on a new strawman.

I’ve posted multiple times that I don’t support ST.

I don’t support any religion pushing their beliefs on others and/or interfering with medical procedures.

Keep your gods and your devils out of my vagina.

Then maybe pp wasn’t talking to you. Although if you were the one with the cutesy “Swiftian satire” label then, yes, yes indeed, you’re trying to dignify the ST.

Anyway, some here do apparently support the white nationalist.

Lucien/Doug says he doesn’t keep track of the amount of funds donated for abortion advocacy he spends on himself, or the amounts Malcolm/ Cevin spends on himself.

Worth keeping in mind: if we were describing Christian televangelists or crisis pregnancy centers this way, these same people defending The Satanic Temple with “nothing to see here” would not be nearly so charitable waving off the red flags of a church-business-nonprofit.

Lots of information in this thread about the reality of the Satanic Temple.

It’s not actually advocating for women. The Satanic Temple is taking donations and selling merch to fund their expenses.

They are white supremacy advocates and believe in eugenics. They don’t want certain “types” of babies born- so if they support abortion “rights,” and enrich their coffers in the process, it’s a win/win.

No one here will discuss it, but Doug/Lucien hates Jewish people.

Wow.

incoming post: “it’s satire! Republicans are pedos! The Satanic Temple DID NOT HIRE ALEX JONES’ ATTORNEY TO DEFEND THEM!”

They did. They really, really did.

He’s forcing them to give up ALL religion in their lives, not just medical care. Why is this so hard to understand?

So forcing your religious beliefs on others is bad?

Religion in medical care is bad?

Still waiting on an answer to this.
