The Dutch house was terrible. I just don't get the popularity. I even listened to is since Tom Hanks narrated it. I hated it.

I did not particularly like Lonesome Dove by Larry McMurtry. I was told by so many people that this book was amazing and it just didn’t resonate with me

I liked Where'd You Go, Bernadette but couldn't get into her Today Will Be Different at all.

I first tried reading Lonesome Dove after I had my first child almost 20 years ago during maternity leave. I have since tried to pick it up numerous times. I cannot get through the first 1/3 of the book and have given up at this point. I cannot get into the book.

I really disliked the new sci-fi book Babel, which has gotten rave reviews. It's all identity politics, which sounds like something an internet troll would say, but I am a POC and a woman. It was just ... alot.
