Let's deflect from obama's terrible handling of the economy. Won't work. |
Of course it won't deflect from the economy, but as part of the message that Romney won't attack the economy with the welfare of the majority of us as his goal, it's ... PART of the message. |
Well, that's not a smart strategy. Surely Obama is smarter than that. |
Romney doesn't need any help from Team Obama in being defined as an out-of-touch and elitist boob. He is that, and, frankly, I don't think much of America cares that much.
Team Obama needs to do a better job articulating the president's many accomplishments: -- Due to President Obama's leadership, you and your children cannot be denied health insurance because of a preexisting condition. You can keep your children on your policy until they are 26. -- President Obama's policies helped reverse the freefall the economy was in when he took office. His policies helped create 4 million private-sector jobs. -- President Obama didn't flinch when given an opportunity to kill Osama bin Laden. -- President Obama cut your taxes. -- President Obama cut taxes for small business. -- Expanded Pell Grants to help pay for college Etc. Etc... Yes, I know there are negatives, but he's done a lot of good that he needs to take credit for. |
For those too young to remember, one of Nixon's contributions to campaign strategy was "Don't peak too soon." You have to admit that O is not peaking. |
It's about his conflicts of interest. Are we supposed to stop caring about those? Or is there only a conflict when a Democrat is involved? |
Mitt Romney attacking John Kerry in 2004 for his wealth:
AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! What's good for the goose is gravy for the gander. http://hotair.com/archives/2012/03/29/flashback-mitt-romney-in-2004-mocks-john-kerry-for-having-a-huge-house/ |
So. Why is this an issue for romney. Can he not be honest? |
Interesting question. Is one born dishonest or is it a life-style of choice? Should dishonest people be allowed to marry each other? |
mitt is married.
Just wants to lie about his finances... he might have something to hide, like shares in playboy magazine |
How many times? He has not proven that he is only married once! |
6:36 here. Obama has to win moderates and independents in order to be re-elected. Attacking Romney for his wealth will turn off a lot of those people. And for 8:25, it's worth remembering that Romney actually earned his money. As a Democrat, I looked at Kerry in 2004 and thought, is this really the best we can do for a nominee? |
when will the most open presidency in history allow it's birth certificate to be analyzed. open up admission/grades/financing and term papers in college? such a sneak,,was he born that way?j |
scientists have discovered that smelling bad correlates with lower income and wealth. Hmmmmm, interesting. |
did I just enter the twilight zone? say WHAT? If you REALLY want to elect someone who EARNED what they have, you really should be looking in the other direction. Obama didn't come from wealth and a connected family. Neither did his wife. They are the bootstrap couple the right likes to rave about...but, damn they're the wrong color and party. Guess we'll have to sell the little rich boy as the hard-worker. |
