| We are new to the area and renting for now, but will probably buy a place in the next 1-2 years. Are there any other real estate blogs that discuss areas, quality of schools, price range, ect? I want to start learning now so that we will have a good idea of where to start when we start formally looking. |

| The only one I know of is citydata.com. It free to search, but I think you have to register to post questions. Click on your area and then search the forum for information you are seeking (housing, neighborhoods, schools, commute issues, crime) and/or then post a specific question. Regarding schools - I think the website is goodschool.org. |
