| DH wants a new coffee maker for Father's Day--he's the only one who drinks it unless we have guests, but doesn't want to go the "pod" route. We have a burr grinder already. Something easy to clean with a timer and auto shut-off. |

Capresso MT600:
http://www.capresso.com/coffee-makers-mt600.shtml Get one with the carafe -- glass ones loses heat (you don't want a heating pad). Its a bit pricey... but for coffee nerds, the Capresso and Technivorm are said to be the only ones which heat the water hot enough to properly brew.
