Former Arlington County Specialist has an immediate opening at her FDC

Hello all,

I have one immediate opening available in my bright and cheerful fdc. As subject indicates I worked for Arlington County for 5 years licensing family day cares and preschools. Although I loved my job I decided it was time to move on once I had my son. Previously I worked as an assistant director and lead teacher at a local preschool. Children have always been my passion and I have many many years of experience. Excellent references available.

The basics on my daycare: I am state licensed and currently caring for 7 children. I have one assistant and my husband who works from home occasionally lends a hand. We serve all homemade and organic food. We ALL go outside daily. Even the babies who go for a ride in a quad stroller. We speak Spanish to the children. I am fully bilingual and my assistant, Sara, is taking English classes. The daycare is split into two rooms, one for infants and one for toddlers/preschoolers. This enables the children to be free to explore and to have access to developmentally appropriate materials. Rooms are on ground level with plenty of natural light and fresh air (wonderful on a day like today).

I am open from 7:30 - 5:30 from M-F and charge $330 per week. Please give me a call at 703-663-8173.
