Pros: Very easy to use, plugs directly into computer so no extra wires, small and compact.

Cons: Poor picture quality.

For $100 it is pretty handy to have around to capture kid related stuff. Not going to make a movie with it, but that isnt what it is for.

and another negative thing, it's slow to start recording, sometimes I thought I was recording and still was not - in short, it's slow.

We actually just recorded my stomach bouncing around (40+ weeks and finding ways to amuse ourselves until the squatter comes out to meet us.) The flip is really easy to use, and I think the picture quality is great for how simple the device is.

What's great is that we actually USE it b/c it's so small. Friends have huge, fancy video cameras but never want to lug them around and I can throw this in my handbag and capture little moments on the fly. I'm a big fan.

Awesome. Tiny, easy, and super fast. I completely disagree with the poster who said it was slow -- ours takes like a second to record. It couldn't be any more user-friendly, and emailing the videos to friends takes about five seconds, too.
