psychiatrist recommendation

| I am urgently seeking a new therapist. I just enrolled in MultiPlan Health Insurance. I have suffered from severe depression all my life. All the psychiatrists I have seen just keep prescribing more meds to try. Would like one that offers talk therapy as well as meds management. One of my symptoms is I get severe anxiety/ panic attacks which have increased since I was laid off from my "dream" job 2 weeks prior to my 50th birthday, (8 years ago) and have not managed to find another job. While i don't expect to get another position in my field, I have difficulty getting offers for any semi-professional position. I am a dog-walker and a sometime pet boarder. I know i am not alone out there, in this type of situation. I would be grateful to anyone who can recommend a good MD therapist. |

| Why not a therapist along with a psychiatrist? Why wouldn't that work? |
