OPK question. PLEASE HELP ME UNDERSTAND.

I started using OPK this month. The first day of my last period was 5/18/2012. I had sex on the 23,26, twice on29. my OPK came up positive on 5/30/2012. On the 29th we used the pull out method, but he was not quite on time in doing so. I started feeling O cramps yesterday very strong ones and I still have them today. What are my chances of getting prego on any of those days? and why do I still have cramps

How old are you? And how much cervical mucus do you have?

When I was 30 and had a lot if fertile quality mucus I could get pregnant if we had sex in the five days before ovulation. That's the maximum window.

I am 32, I had a lot for the past week. It is dried up for the most part now. I do not get as much as I did when i was in my 20's. This month was very clear and wet/ thin.

I'm confused. Are you trying to use OPKs to get pregnant or avoid getting pregnant?

I'm wondering if you are trying to get pregnant too?

We have gotten pregnant having sex the day before a + opk, but it seems like my surge is on the short side of normal. So, by the time I get my + I ovulate 12-18 hours later, but it also takes time for LH to show up in your urine in sufficient quantities.
