| Pine Spring, a Title I school in the not-so-nice part of Falls Church, with high FARMS and ESOL % and not so great test scores. And we love it! |

Shrevewood/Haycock parent. I have spent a lot of time talking to the new Shrevewood principal and she has a great mind for change. She sees where improvement is needed and is actively working toward it.
Haycock is amazing. I couldn't dream of more. We actually considered private and couldn't find one that was a better fit or could offer a better education or experience for our kids. |

This is my 2nd year there. The last principal was nice, for some reason, I didn't like her as a person. I tried to approach her lightly about a concern and didn't like her tone in which she responded. She ended up being right, but her tone and demeanor could have been better. It was so obvious she was checked out a long time ago..... glad she is gone.
Have also talked with the new principal and she does have a great mind for change. & the bolded!! |

well this is nice, glad someone else said it. After DC got into Hunters Woods for AAP, we came to appreciate Waples Mills much more. |
