I'm 27 weeks pregnant and the top part of my belly feels numb...essentially the 2 or 3 inches right under my breasts. I'm carrying pretty high generally.
Anyone else experienced something like this? I'm worried my circulation is getting cut off and that's hurting the baby. I'm seeing the doc on friday and I'll ask about it, but just wanted to see if anyone else had similar numbness. |
I have the exact same sensation in the exact spot! It didn't happen until I was about 34 weeks. I am 40 weeks now, and still have it. No idea what causes it. |
I haven't had numbness, but there have been times when my baby clearly moved onto something she shouldn't have (like a nerve ending or a major blood vessel) and I've had shooting pain for a moment! That kind of sucked. Also not a fan of when she sticks one foot up into my ribs, which she likes to do, or pokes into a lung. Ow. |
I've also had this and haven't seen it written up in any books. The doctor's office said it's just muscles and nerves being stretched, but there's not much we can do about it. It started around 29 weeks and hasn't gone away. |
