Ideas for late night dinner and drinks

Anonymous
I am planning my sister's bachelorette party here in DC and we are doing a pole dance class from 8-9:30 (prime dinner time).

We can't do dinner before because we'll be too full for the class.

Anyone have any ideas for a place to eat dinner at 11:00pm that stays open late so that we can have drinks. I know many places stay open til midnight, but I don't want to be at a place that goes dead during our dinner, and/or be rushed out because they are about to close. Also, if we could stay to drink, that would be perfect!

What are you going to do from 9:30 to 11?

Also, I think you are mistaken if you think the guests are going to wait to eat until after the class. That's late for most people and they will need to eat something before 8pm.

OP here

We are doing a late lunch/having light snacks at the actual party. Since we are staying at a hotel, I figured we would shower/get ready, then do dinner around 10:30-11pm.

I've got a good day planned. I don't need help with that. I know no one is going hungry. I just need late night dining ideas.

Where's the class? I think the Hamilton in DC serves until very late. And maybe Bistro de Francais in Georgetown.

I also think you should give the guests something to eat around 6 - something light, like sandwiches. Otherwise they are going to be STARVING. I couldn't wait till after 9:30 to eat dinner.

The class is near McPherson Square. We are staying in Dupont.

I'm providing snacks at the class, and we are doing our lunch/early dinner at 5pm... so I think everyone will be fine with hunger.

OP, is this a really young group of women?

If you're doing late lunch/early dinner at 5pm, I wouldn't worry about dinner. You can probably go to a bar that will serve apps or something similar.

There's a place in Georgetown called Mie N Yu that's good. I think my sister and I went in there at 10:30 or so a couple weeks ago and it was still plenty lively and we didn't feel like we were keeping people from going home or whatever. It's Asian food with a Southern twist, and was very good.

Ceiba near Metro Center has a late nite snack menu.

How about Cuba Libre? They are open late.

The Hamilton is located at 14th and F and is open 24 hours, so no rush to close. The food is kinda average though.

Hamilton's not open 24/7 anymore, I don't think. they were at first, but then cut back their hours because they weren't seeing much business at certain hours. But I assume they'd still be serving at 11.
