Nothing like IMG, but it seems cool. I think it's 29k per year. It's not boarding school. This is their 1st year I believe.

TSJ started a sports academy this year with online school and Bethesda is slated to start their soccer academy school this fall. These schools have been popular with Hockey families for pathways to the minors in the North East for decades now.

Of course it isn't like IMG, IMG is much bigger and covers more sports and has been around longer.

It isn't 29K, about 19K.

You can request a shadow day if your interested in seeing what a day is like.

For the PP asking about the gym, club players do have access through a separate program with the trainer.

Why all the switches at U10 and U9 girls? Did they get rid of teams and coaches left?

Has anyone noticed that as soon as the TSJFC thread gets active with usually negative posts, this thread also gets active with negative posts. It's almost like someone from TSJFC management is trying to deflect their problems to VRSC.

Who hurt this bad? You kicked out FCV from evergreen fields, purchased their coaches because your philosophy and direktorate are mediocre at best, and they still living rent free? What happened? You can be open. We know you’re obsessed in removing all clubs from LoCo but that’s not going to happen just because you’re friends with a millionaire. Eventually, he too, will get tired of your crookedness

Is VRSC a for-profit? That would explain hella things

Like needing to be responsive to your customers? Note that the VRSC trash talkers here are not VRSC families, but a lot of the complaints about Loudoun, McLean, Bethesda, etc. on DCUM are from inside those clubs.

You must be one of those yes-man whose living relies on VRSC checks. Sad.

How will they compete in MLS 2? It might be rough for those kids

They haven’t posted GA2/Aspire coaches yet, the teams she currently coaches.

Based on turnout at ID sessions there will be a lot of new kids. MLS brand attracts players like bees to honey.

They can't run a soccer club and you expect them to run a school?

Your opinion, the school is working this year and the club seems to being doing pretty well too. GA, MLS Next, academy is growing, a couple of the boys teams are doing very well. Just because you have an issue doesn't mean the club isn't doing well.

We've been at VRSC for one year and are happy with the club. The many new investments in evergreen is much appreciated. It's so nice to get the opportunity to play in the stadium sometimes. They also rebuilt the fields a few years ago so the turf is in good condition. We appreciate our coaching and the many tournaments our team plays in. It is a step up from where we came from and that wasn't bad. The coaches are trying to make the teams even more competitive but many of the teams are fairly good.

Well, we had no choice but to accept the other club's offer. My DD is heartbroken, but we simply couldn’t twiddle our thumbs any longer. Best of luck, VSRC! Maybe one day you'll master the art of transparency.

Anonymous wrote:$29k is not horrible. Does that include club and team fees? If my DD is currently on GA2, would this guarantee her a move up to GA1? Asking for a friend.

Are you seriously trying to buy a roster spot?

Can anyone confirm, not guess, whether 2011 or 2012 GA1 offers have gone out yet?

They were transparent, they posted their GA status, posted coaching staff, and told players when the offers were coming out. The fact that other clubs have started giving offers earlier and earlier every year just to beat other clubs is not VRSC’s issue. Good luck to your dd, I am sure she will do great at any club and continue to enjoy the game.
