Churchill Road AAP-Number of schools that are assinged AAP

Anonymous
I'm relatively new to all of this. It "seems" as though only 2 or 3 schools are assigned the Churchill Road AAP center? Is this true? If so why are about 6-7 schools assigned to the other area AAP center?

This is a map of the 2011-2012 ES AAP Center boundaries.

In general, FCPS attempts to assign schools to Centers to minimize the length of transportation runs. Therefore, some Centers may have one or two schools assigned to it based on the boundaries, while other Centers may have several schools assigned based on the density of the housing within the boundaries.

Any idea the class sizes for 3rd grade AAP for next year? Originally, the principal said 4 classes and now is reportedly saying only 3. I am worried they will be filled to the brim-this year, there are 3 classes with about 21/22 kids each which is great. Both Kent Gardens and Spring Hill feed to CRS, though very few come from Spring Hill as they have their own local level IV.

The only way to know is to ask the principal. The principal will not know until all the placement forms have been submitted (May 14) AND all the appeals decisions have been completed and sent out (July).
