Ideas for a local Park to visit

We want to go to a local park for Memorial Day Weekend - lots of kids and adults. Any suggestions besides Great Falls or Lake Braddock? We frequent those two.

How local does it have to be? The Delaplane Strawberry Festival is going on this weekend at Sky Meadows State Park.

Not OP but how good is this? We pass Sky Meadows State Park on our way to the Hot Air Balloons out at Millwood every fall but have never been. It would be quite a hike for us but we would be up for it if it is a really good day out. Our children are 8,4 and almost 2. Thanks for any information.

OP here, went to National Arboretum a few weeks ago. You're right that it's awesome. We just caught the end of the azaleas. No one mentioned it here, but someone at work mentioned Fountainhead Regional Park on Lake Occoquan.
