In search of a tutor for the summer for a 7 1/2 yr old

I'm in search of a tutor for my DS for the summer. Other than going to Kumon or something, is there a place I can find tutors? School is not very helpful in suggesting ppl or places to look.

Depends on the type of tutor you want. My DD goes to Avid Readers in Germantown for language arts tutoring and they are fantastic.

What school district? I have a great tutor, bust she is very good for montgomery county.

I would contact Peer2Peer tutors - You could get a fully trained high school student to be a tutor/mentor/role model and provide lots of fun along with the tutoring. They are less expensive than others, and very effective from waht I have heard! www.peer2peertutors.com
