Graco Snugride

Does the Graco Snugride carseat fit into the airplane seat?
And can I use the carseat w/o the base on the plane and in a car?
Travelling by myself and wanted to bring as little as possible.

Just make sure when you use it in a car that you know how to properly install. If the seatbelt is a shoulder strap, pull it all the way out and then let is go back in slowly (you'll hear clicks). That way the seatbelt won't have any slack if there's a sudden stop.

Too add to the above comment, since you don't have a base you may need to stick a beach towel underneath if the carrier is too much/not enough of an incline. Take a look at the blue ball on the indicator thing on the side to help you balance it correctly.

I have done a lot of travel with my snugride. If you follow the 13:13 and 13:21 instructions, it is total cake. We have had the snugride in airplanes, taxis, rental cars etc. No problem!
