Camping on Skyline Drive when the leaves are turning. Luray caverns thrown in.

A farmstay vacation in Lancaster County. Visit Gettysburg.

Williamsburg, and go to Busch Gardens for a day.

Frontier town out near Ocean City. They have fewer activities in the fall, so check their website.

Op here, not camping, relaxation, something fun for DD and place with good food options, we love walking, but need something that interest adults and child alike....

In November, I would go south to somewhere like Myrtle Beach because there's plenty to do there. Or Atlanta - there's the new aquarium, Coca Cola tour, museums, shopping, zoo, good retail and restaurants. Maybe try priceline for hotel options. And really for 4 days, you could probably do NYC, if you did the bus for transportation, then go to American Girl store.
