Elem/middle/high with best test scores, exmissions reputation that is not an Aap center?

Anonymous
There are many threads about Aap, but when looking for housing cannot assume child will test into Aap. Which school triangle is most sought after in NOVA that is not center based. Is there a better one in DC or MD?

Thank you

Review the Full-Day K implementation indexing and exclude the schools with AAP Centers.

http://www.boarddocs.com/vsba/fairfax/Board.nsf/files/8GGKCC5131BA/$file/Full%20Day%20Kindergarten%20Implementation%20Options.pdf

So the "least to need" Full Day K per the FCPS-generated index from several years back is Wolftrap, then Great Falls, then Colvin Run, etc.

Wolftrap is not a Center school (but does have Local Level IV), so it is arguably the "best" elementary school in FCPS based on the FCPS-generated index.

I think the is a great question. Also, schools high on that index that have LLiv but not a center should be looked at...because if your kid may be able to get into the LLiv class if they are Ineligible for center or never made the pool.
