Searching for an afternoon preschool for a 3 year old in Rockville.

Do you know of a preschool who has openings in the afternoon either 2 or 3 days a week for a 3 year old?
I live in Rockville and would prefer to stay within Montgomery County.
They also need to be flexible with immunizations, or allow wavers for them.

I think you'll have a very hard time finding anything that would work. Most part-time preschools are mornings for kids that age because most are napping in the afternoon. I haven't encountered any preschools that will allow kids who aren't vaxed.

The state of Maryland has an religious exemption form you can use instead of the vac. form. Most will give you a hard time about it but it is allowed.

ECC in rockville has an afternoon class. I don't know about immunizations.

The afternoon class at ECC is wonderful. The teacher is the best! On top of the great teaching, she regularly brings in healthy organic snacks that she makes herself.

My son did this "Tadpole" class two years in a row, it is mixed age for 3s and 4s. It meets 1-4 on Tues, Wed, and Thursday.

Not in Rockville, but closeby -- Good Shepherd Preschool in Gaithersburg. They are well-regarded and have a PM 3's class.

Check with church-run preschools to find those with afternoon classes. Many of them will accept the religious exemption for vacc's.
