help understand WISC

DS just got WISC scores back so that we can appeal. I do not understand why we have 2 scores.
Full scale IQ is 130
GAI is 139

Which does committee look at?

The Full Scale is the primary number, but the committee will take all of the scores into account.

Which does committee look at?

The GAI score just takes into account the VCI and PRI (Verbal/Math) and not the memory and processing speed scores which are often not much above average even for gifted children. Many people feel that the GAI is a much more accurate representation of a childs intelligence than the FSIQ when they diverge significantly.
