Ledos. You get more pizza and smaller slices

There's a pizza place in Potomac Village.

Just a warning. If you are new to the area, you may not like Ledos. The sauce is very sweet and different. There is an entire thread of something like 5-6 pages with disagreement over if people like it or not. Most of the people who like it are from this area. Most people from outside the area don't like it.

There are two-Potomac Pizza which is Ok for a kid's birthday or Tally Ho, a diner type place that makes great pizza but is a little more pricey. Frankly, for a kid's party, go with the other PP's suggestions-Dominoes, Pizza Hut, whatever. There is a dearth of really good pizza in this area-Armands used to be good but quality has declined somewhat. There's also what I call boutique pizza-2 Amys, Mias, etc. Pricey, good but not homey. Then there is old world Italian greasy heavy delicious pies they create at Vince and Dominics behind Montgomery Mall, but again very pricey for a kid's party. Good luck to you.

I think Tally Ho is actually slightly cheaper than Potomac Pizza. Agree with the pp that Tally Ho is better than Potomac

Mama lucia
Flipping pizza on democracy near saw

Agree that there is really no good pizza. If it's a choice betwrem dominos and Potomac pizza and tally go, go with dominos. At least you can get cheesy bread!

You might want to try Ledo's and decide whether you like it. It is definitely different - square, thin flaky crust, sauce is slightly sweet and not much cheese/sauce combo. Many people love it. (I'm biased because I grew up eating it.) It's also popular for kids' birthday parties, probably in part because of the small size of the pieces.

I didn't grow up in DC area, but love Ledo. My parents in their 60s do too. We get it when they visit.

Vince & Dominics is great for a party. They make a huge XL pizza - ask for double cut slices. The taste is much better than the chains.

Pizza Hut,
good one in this regard.

Ledos is crap. Seriously, it's awful. There are few good pizza places in the DC metro area, The Italian Store in Arlington is the best of them (I realize that doesn't help you, OP, but the larger point is that Ledos is just terrible.)
