Safe Way to Label Toys / Pacifiers etc. for Daycare

Any tips for labeling toys, pacifiers for daycare? Obviously something non-toxic that won't peel off since these things will be in my son's mouth! thanks!

We love Mabel's Labels -- google to get the website. They're not particularly cheap, but they really do hold up to the dishwasher and/or the washer/dryer. Not sure if they're small enough for paci's, but work great for toys, clothes, bottles, sippy's, etc.
