| We are getting ready to move to the DC area and I am on the hunt for some good blogs with restaurant reviews, info on local farmer's markets, community gardens, local food events, etc. Have any favorite blogs or websites to share? |
| The Don Rockwell site is very helpful. There are some neighborhood blogs (like Prince of Petworth) that can also be very good, so it might help to indicate where you are locating. The Chow board is ok. |

We'll be in the Bethesda area, but looking forward to exploring different parts of the DC area, too.
Thanks! |
| Don Rockwell. It's a BB not a blog, but it's extremely comprehensive. |

For restaurant news in Bethesda, Bethesda magazine's Table Talk is pretty good.
There is a Fresh Farm producers-only Sat. farmers market in Bethesda, near Veterans Park (what people sometimes call the "old" downtown, as opposed to the "new downtown" of Bethesda Row). There is also a Sunday market at Bethesda elementary which is more wide-ranging-- it can have knife sharpeners, olive oil, gelato, coffee, pickles, etc. |

A Washingtonian does this blog, but it's mostly recipes (really great ones though), and a few extra bits

| Another don Rockwell fan. Definitely the most friendly and comprehensive site around. |
