Can anyone recommend any? I'm a SAHM without an opportunity (for various reasons) to get to a gym. I'm in the normal BMI range, but I feel out of shape and have a muffin top from my pregnancy (DS is 20 mos!). So, I'm de-conditioned but need some cardio DVDs. Any suggestions? TIA!

I swear by the old Firm videos. I'm not a fan of the new stuff but the older videos kick butt! Denise Austin has a few decent dvds too. She's way to perky for me but her videos get results. |
I know people who've had success with Power 90--it's sold from an infomercial or www.beachbody.com but you can find them on ebay. A woman in my MOMS club did it with her husband a while back and they won a trip to Hawaii! It alternates strength (with dumbbells or bands) and cardio/abs --you do each 3 days/week. My husband did it for a while and saw results, although he didn't stick with it. I need to dust of the videos and do them myself. |
I have lots of recommendations, but it depends on what you are into. Like Martial Arts? There's TaeBo, TurboKick and a bunch like them. Like Hip Hop? There's Madonna Grimes's DanceStreet or TurboJam. Like traditional aerobics? There is Reebok Step, Kathy Ireland & Denise Austin (although the bored me after awhile).
Like Dance? There's a workout for every style...CRUNCH Cardio Salsa, Samba Party, Balletone, YogaBooty Ballet, Irish Dancing Cardio, Kukuwa, Powerdance, Bellydance workouts, and I probably don't have to say what my favorite workout is as is evident in my screename. Personally, I like to mix it up so I don't get bored. |
Def Tae-Bo!!! |
