Silver Line and Living near it - what will change?

How do neighborhoods change when metro stops arrive?

Good question. I'd like to know this as well.

Well, for one thing, you can expect more traffic and/or people potentially looking to park in your n'hood. I know our neighborhood HOA is planning for this and looking at saving for gated entry, so they may raise our monthly dues for this so that they don't have to do a special assessment down the line. Anyone else have any thoughts?

I just read that housing values typically rise about 15% if you are n 3 miles of the metro. More if you are less than 1.
