She is mixed European/Fijian descent. Does she look Fijian enough?

There is also a huge ethnically Indian population there - they have been there for five or six generations but there a some ethnics tensions..... Which is a likely back story here.... |

I think she certainly should be considered qualified as a Fijiian national, but it's a little bit of a sad commentary on the oppressive dominance of a certain kind of beauty norm.
On the other hand, it IS a beauty pageant, after all. So really, the whole damn thing is messed up by definition. |
