I never get why potential buyers will post a link with the house they are thinking of buying??
Maybe I just bought in INCREDIBLY tight neighborhoods--but I would never do that for fear of causing somebody else to swoop in and buy it. Is it really the potential buyer--or realtors looking for opinions...??? |
| Bc it's the seller or the agent posting it... |
| Lots of us like to keep up with the market. Real estate is inherently interesting, don't you think? Agree with PP but only to an extent. Not always is it sellers/agents. Though it is a great way to get really honest feedback on your listing if you are. |
| I don't think it is always sellers or agents. for example, there is a buyer in Mass looking to buy a house in Rockville and at the price range of the house and the location, I would not be surprised to hear is is already be under contract. |
| Because people who are serious buyers will already know about it. |
| Its not secret its public you ain't hiding anything |

I agree with 13:12. It's doubtful that someone will "steal" the house if they haven't already seen it (in person, on the mls), though it is possible that they'll realize they have competition and maybe make up their mind to buy it faster.
I like weighing in on this stuff. it's kind of fun to look at parts of the market that I wouldn't consider. |
