Class Sizes

This past November, campaign promises were given about class sizes in particular parts of FFX county. I haven't heard anything about it since. Has there been any progress that could make a difference for 2012-13?

There is money in the FCPS proposed budget to reduce the class sizes in certain parts of the county. These dollars, like all other "new" expenditures, are under scrutiny as the BOS only gave FCPS 4.5 increase in transfer, which isn't as much as they asked for and built their budget around. The budget hearings are starting on the 15th, so if you want those funds you really need to stand up and advocate for them.
