My husband stinks...literally!

DH has BO and I am very sensitive to odors. Wondering what keeps your partner smelling fresh or non-offensive. Thanks!

And this is news to you now?

Shower in the morning, shower at night.

did he not have BO when you met him...before you married him?

Is this a new problem, or was he always like that?
If you are very sensitive, you might try to determine if there is a specific area of the body the odor is coming from and address that specific area problem.
I am very sensitive to smell, and can smell a change in my husband's odor after he eats certain foods, or when he has health issues (e.g after several weeks of annoying odor from the face area, it turned out he had a sinus infection).

OP if this is new, it's time for a medical checkup. All sorts of things can cause an odor, including new onset diabetes if it's severe.

Axe deodorizine antibac body wash

What is his diet like? I can notice a change in my own bo when I'm not eating healthfully.

Are you pregnant? I could not stand my husband's smell when I was pregnant.

How's his diet? Certain cuisines will come out your pores, like the ingredients in some curry. Also, if he eats in restaurants a lot with open kitchens that serve fried things (even just french fries), that can make a person stink.

Wash cloth and dr. bronners. it will solve the problem.

I have the same problem with my DH. He showers twice a day, uses deodorant (makes it better), but still it remains. It's like some "manly" smell (not in a good way though). It appeared maybe a couple months ago. I am not pregnant.

Deodorant or anti-perspirant? Anti-perspirant is key.

And so is washing all clothing before wearing again. Just because the suit jacket looks clean, doesn't mean he should be wearing it again. It hold the bacteria, which will continue to transfer back and forth between body and clothing, and continue to smell (worse and worse).

My DH emits a weird odor when he eats a diet comprised predominately proteins. I have to ensure he eats carbs along with proteins to mitigate the smell. I think it has something to do with ketosis.
