Can you believe that the AART teacher gives my child a GBRS of 6 and now ( received letter today)states that she is eligible for level 3 services that is really nasty of the school to do this, not sure what they trying to imply. My child according to them may not be ready for AAP but why 6 and not 8/9/10 if she is eligible for level 3 services.
At many schools level III AAP is offered to all kids who made the pool but weren't found eligible for level IV. There are plenty of kids who are level III material but aren't level IV material.
Don't feel bad, OP. Our school said DC was not eligible for Level III (despite being in the pool). We appealed the Level IV decision and she got in. So the kid who wasn't eligible for Level III is in a center (and getting mostly A's with a few B's). I guess it's an art, not a science.
